ASUS ROG Phone 5: Hot or not? (Poll)

ASUS has steadily improved its flagship ROG gaming smartphone brand since its launch in 2018. Now, the latest iteration of that push is here in the form of theROG Phone 5 series.
Featuring standard, Pro, and Ultimate models, the phone line is more an evolution than a revolution over theROG Phone 3. But the ROG Phone 5 line might now be one of thebest gaming phonesfor smartphone enthusiasts and power users.
Internally, it packs aQualcomm Snapdragon 888chipset with up to 18GB of RAM on the Ultimate model. The Pro and Ultimate variants also pack 512GB of internal storage. While the standard model lacks the ROG Vision rear display, it gains a 6,000mAh battery pack like its siblings with 65W wired charging. A 144Hz AMOLED display also features measuring 6.78 inches across with HDR10+ support and a 1ms response time.
Other practical additions include the return of the3.5mm headphone jack, dual-SIM/dual standby support, and two USB-C ports.
ASUS ROG Phone 5: Hot or not?
Despite its positives, those considering the ROG Phone 5 will have to compromise in some areas. All models in the series still lack an IP rating. The phones remain thick and heavy too, coming in just short of 240 grams and 10.3mm in depth. And despite its competent camera capabilities, ASUS is opting for the same 64+8+5MP formula used on the ROG Phone 3. Those wanting some advancements there may be left disappointed.
