Confirmed: The Avengers-themed OnePlus 6 is coming to India

OnePlus has confirmed aprevious rumorthat it will be releasing an Avengers version of its upcomingOnePlus 6model. OnePlus is partnering with Disney to release the device in India.
The announcement comes before OnePlus has even officially announced the OnePlus 6. However, with the Avengers movie being released on April 27, it’s likely that OnePlus 6 is coming soon, likely in May.
Late last year, OnePlus released aStar Wars versionof itsOnePlus 5Tphone. This phone had a Star Wars-themed design, Star Wars-themed content such as wallpapers and themes, and even came with a Star Wars case. OnePlus will likely do something similar for the Avengers-themed limited edition OP6.
OnePlus’s tie-in with Marvel was initially teased by the Indian branch of the company, and astatementcalls it a “step towards strengthening our association with Disney India.” This suggests that the phone will be, at least initially, released in India only. The Star Wars-themed OnePlus 5T was exclusive to India as well.
Despite the lack of an official announcement, there have been plenty ofleaks and rumors about the OnePlus 6. The phone is expected to have a notch, 8GB of RAM, 256GB storage, and a Snapdragon 845 processor. Other rumors suggest it could bewaterproofand have a glass back.
