Every day that passes, it seems, we see further indicators that the official release ofCyanogenMod 12is approaching. Anew boot animationarrived yesterday, and today, a couple new variants of a major flagship device gain support from the main-stream Android alternative.

CyanogenMod 12 nightlieshave been available for a selection of devices for a few weeks now, bringing the latest that the custom ROM has to offer, bugs and all. Based on Android Lollipop, it also brings the latest that Android andMaterial Designhave to offer, bugs and all. Things are looking interesting for the AOSP based OS, with Cyanogen recently announcing plans to pull away from the Google services focused Android stream.
It is always great to see Cyanogen roll out official support for their OS to new devices. TheSamsung Galaxy Note 4in particular is one of the better devices out there, one for which I believe users will be very grateful to see some ROM love.
