June 14, 2025

Gone are the days whenSamsungwas capable of keeping its wares under covers until the big reveal. TheGalaxy Note 5and theGalaxy S6 Edge Plushave been leaking profusely and now ongoing inside info purveyor Evan Blass just opened the tap a little more.

@evleakspublished what appear to be press images of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, along with some of the key specifications of the S Pen-sporting device.

The images don’t reveal anything we haven’t seen in various leaks and renders before, though there’s one inconsistency that cast a shade of doubt over their accuracy: the capacitive keys on the Note 5 appear to be oversized, though that’s likely just a graphical error.

Moving on to a tweet that@evleaksput out just minutes ago, specs of the Galaxy Note 5 (SM-N920) allegedly include an Exynos 7420 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 5.66-inch 2560×1440 display, a 16MP rear camera (likely featuring the ISOCELL sensor that Samsung unveiled earlier this week), a 5MP front camera (probably wide angle), Android 5.1.1 andno microSD card.

Yes, Samsung appears determined to phase out microSD, come hell, high water, or violent fan revolt.

With a couple of weeks to go until theofficial debut of the Note 5, it looks like Samsung is running out of major surprises to spice up its Unpacked event – unless you consider thecircular Gear A smartwatch a major device.
