Google Family Link is now available in 38 countries - here’s the full list

Google is expanding itsFamily Linkservice to an additional 27 countries from across the E.U. The extension, spotted today on the Google for Families help hub (viaAndroid Police), takes the total of supported countries to a grand total of 38.
Family Link launched fully in the U.S. inSeptember last yearbefore eventually rolling out to Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Ireland, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, and the U.K. over the past few months.
Now even more parents around the world can take advantage of the service, with major European countries like France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and many more all joining the list of compatible regions. Below is the full list:
For those not up to speed, Family Link gives parents control over the content available on any of their children’s Android phones and tablets that run on Android 7.0 Nougat or higher. Family Link works by enabling parent-monitored Google accounts for kids 13 years of age and younger.
As well as restricting apps, mature content, and showing each device’s location and app usage statistics, the free service also lets parents and guardians set daily screen time limits for each of their kids via the Family Link app.
Google made a big deal of Family Link’s positive reception at its recentGoogle I/O 2018developer conference where it also announced severalfamily-focusedand digital health-conscious projects.
