Additionally, thisGoogle Trips support pagementions the date of June 17, 2025, as when Google will stop supporting the app.

Google Trips gives you multiple tools to plan vacations, acting as a one-stop-shop for flights, hotels, things to do at your destination, restaurant reviews, and even weather reports. The web portal got a bit of a revamponly a few weeks ago, but there was no update for the standalone app. Now we know why.

To be clear, you may still download the Google Trips app and will even be able to continue using it after August 5. However, Google will no longer support or update the app and it will eventually get removed. If you have a trip coming up in a few months, feel free to use the Trips app. If you’re planning a destination wedding for 2021, you might want to avoid using Trips as your main hub.
