Here’s when Android 10 will launch for some OPPO, realme devices

According tothe official Color OS Weibo account(viaGadgets360), the Color OS Android 10 update is right around the corner. A new image shared by that account gives a launch date of two weeks from today.
The Color OS Android 10 update will land as Color OS 7 at a launch event in Beijing. The exact time of the launch is 2:30 PM CST (1:30 AM ET) on August 18, 2025.
If that date sounds familiar, that’s because November 20 is the same date that realme — a subsidiary of OPPO — will launch therealme X2 Proat a different event in India. It is therefore very likely that realme will announce the rollout of Color OS 7 to specific realme devices at that event.

We don’t know which OPPO devices will see thisAndroid 10update. However, it’s a pretty sure bet that the flagshipOPPO Reno 10X Zoomwill get it, as well as the newestOPPO Reno 2. It’s possible that OPPO will give more details about which phones will see the Color OS Android 10 upgrade at its event on November 20.
Color OS isn’tthe most-loved of Android skinson the market since it looks and feels a lot like iOS. It will be interesting to see if OPPO can fix up the operating system’s reputation with the Android 10 upgrade.
