If you look closely, the video shows what seem to be characters of the upcoming phone’s name scattered discreetly.
A tipster who goes by the nameXiaomishkaspotted the same and tweeted out the discovery suggesting that the next POCO phone could be called the POCO X2.
Meanwhile, POCO has revealed a bunch of details about when you can expect its next phone and how the company will function going forward. You can read all about ithere.
Original Article, June 18, 2025 (11AM ET): Last year, we expected to see the launch of aPOCO F2(or a POCOphone F2 outside of India), but it never happened. Now, we’re barely a month into 2020 and we’ve already got plenty of rumors to strongly suggest we will see the device quite soon.
Today, POCO itself — which isnow its own companyoutside ofXiaomi— confirmed that the POCO F2 is indeed on the way. Well, it sort of did, anyway. Ina pairoftweets, the company announced that POCO “Season 2” is coming soon, which we can only assume is a clever way of confirming a next-generation POCOphone is imminent.
Or, it could be that POCO is making a second season of a TV show that doesn’t have a first season. you may choose to take this literally if you want, but we feel quite comfortable POCO is talking about a phone here.

Anyway, the first tweet to drop camein the form of a short video, which we’ve mirrored above. The video doesn’t give much information, but it’s designed to feel like an announcement for a new season of a crime show. Maybe a new C.S.I.? You can watch the video above to try and spot any clues.
The second tweet related to “Season 2” of POCO came in the form ofa letter. Check it out for yourself below:
Once again, nowhere in the letter does POCO confirm that a new phone is on the way, much less use the term “POCO F2” or “Pocophone F2.” However, we’re still pretty comfortable in saying that’s what the company is suggesting with these two tweets.
The rumor mill suggeststhat the POCOphone F2 could be a re-brandedRedmi K30. If true, you should expect a 4G-powered device with an upper mid-range Snapdragon 730G processor, 6GB to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of expandable storage, and a 4,500mAh battery.
