August 22, 2025
Realmeis clearly one of the fastest growing smartphone brands around, as thelatest market-share reportsshow the company is now a top-ten global player.
The good news doesn’t end there for the brand though, as realme has just announced that it’s hit 10 million users since its May 2018 inception.

It’s a rather big figure for what is essentially a new brand, although the firm started out as an OPPO sub-brand. Still, it’s even more impressive when you consider that the company doesn’t actually have a proper flagship phone just yet. Almost all these sales have been driven by budget-minded phones, such as therealme 3series.
The firm has also launched an upper mid-rangerealme Xdevice, packing aSnapdragon 710chipset instead of a flagship-levelSnapdragon 855processor.
The company has howeverconfirmedplans to launch a quad-camera smartphone on August 8 in India. This upcoming phone will also offer a64MPmain camera, which should deliver 16MP pixel-binned snaps.

The brand has alsohintedat its intention to offer a smartphone with theSnapdragon 855 Plusprocessor, although it’s unclear whether this is indeed the aforementioned 64MP phone.
Realme’s figure is also a notable achievement due to the brand’s small footprint compared to the likes ofHuawei,Samsung, andXiaomi. The company first launched in India last year before expanding to China and Europe in 2019. The company has also expanded to the likes of Egypt, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, and Vietnam.
