Samsung Galaxy Note 10 S Pen: Everything you need to know
July 01, 2025
The newSamsung Galaxy Note 10line is finally here and so is the new S Pen! An inseparable part of the Note series, it is back with new and exciting features. Here is everything you need to know about the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 S Pen.
Galaxy Note 10 S Pen design
TheS Pen has evolvedover the years but its design has not changed dramatically since the Note 5. The Galaxy Note 10 S Pen is no exception. It has retained the familiar look and shape but is now more ergonomic and easier to hold. It also ditches the two-tone design of the Note 9 stylus in favor of a single piece of plastic.
This year there are two versions of the beloved phablet — the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Plus. Regardless, the S Pen is the same size on both devices, with 5.8 x 4.35 x 105.08mm dimensions and a weight of 3.04g. This makes the Galaxy Note 10 S Pen slightly shorter than theNote 9 S Pen, but the difference in dimensions is negligible.

The familiar button that helps you take selfies from a distance, control slideshows and more, is still here too. But there are some great new features as well!
Galaxy Note 10 S Pen new features
The S Pen is more than a simple stylus. Its many functions aim toboost productivity, and the Note 10 edition is no different. Earlier this year, there were rumors circulating of a camera being added to the pen itself, but we have to dispel them. There is no camera on the Galaxy Note 10 S Pen.
Some speculations did come true, however. The S Pen now offers air actions — gesture controls you can perform by swiping. Currently, they are supported in the camera, gallery, video, music and more. The list is expected to expand quickly thanks to an opensoftware development kit, which should allow third party support.

The new functionality doesn’t end there, however. A feature many have been waiting for is finally here — converting handwriting to text. You can now easily export the text to a Word document, a PDF or even an image. You will also be able to zoom and edit handwriting.
These are the latest and greatest Galaxy Note 10 S Pen features. What do you think about them? Will you be using the new Air actions? Let us know in the comments below.
