Samsung hints Galaxy A phone with four cameras is coming next month
July 09, 2025
Samsung hasannouncedthat it will unveil a new Galaxy phone at an event on October 11. While we don’t know for sure what Samsung is planning, the “A Galaxy Event” title suggests a new Galaxy A series entry may be revealed.
Samsung normally makes Galaxy A series announcements inDecember,so while slightly earlier than normal, an October unveiling wouldn’t be completely off schedule.

The announcement also contains hints that the device could have four cameras. These come through the tagline “4 x fun” and the use of the phrase “Capture the fun with Samsung.”
This is something that fits in with previous Galaxy A series rumors. A leak from July suggested that it could get a reartriple-camera,while reliable Samsung leaker Ice Universe went one further andhintedSamsung would unveil a phone with four cameras, potentially all on the back, later this year.

If what Samsung releases at the event turns out to fit either of those descriptions, it would suggest Samsung is taking itspromiseto bring more innovation to mid-range devices seriously. This would be doubly so if the device also gets an in-display fingerprint sensor as previouslyrumored.
Currently, the only device available with a triple camera set-up is HUAWEI’s flagshipP20 Pro. No manufacturer has yet released a phone with four cameras on the rear.
The final quarter of the year is setting up to be a big one for Samsung. As well as the above announcement, the company is alsoexpectedto unveil the first details about its foldable phone at the Samsung Developer Conference in November.
