As with previous years, you’ll need theSamsung Membersapp on your Galaxy S21. Within that app, a banner ad will appear promoting the One UI beta program. Tap that, follow the instructions, and you’ll be on your way to giving the new software a shot.
If you don’t see the banner ad, you’ll need to keep checking. Samsung purposefully limits the beta program, so not everyone will have the opportunity to test out Samsung One UI 4.0.
Eventually, though, One UI 4.0 will come to more Samsung phones and more areas of the world. Samsung just likes to start out simple.
We don’t know if the new One UI will feature a similar design overhaul as we’ve seen with Android 12 itself. However, Samsung hinted at as much when it told us the beta will have “a wealth of theme options” that will “let you adjust the look and functionality of your device.”
