Samsung to bring its glorious AMOLED displays to low-cost Galaxy A series?
July 29, 2025
Rumours suggest thatSamsungmight be launching new phones in the A series to combat the heated competition fromXiaomiandHonorin theentry-levelsegment.
MySmartPricereports that the Galaxy A10, Galaxy A20 and theGalaxy A30will all includeAMOLEDdisplays. The Galaxy A10 is believed to start at 8,490 rupees (~$119), which is a bit more than the newly announced Galaxy M10. Samsung is definitely placing a premium on the AMOLED display here. The Galaxy M10 andM20both included an Infinity-V display that allowed for reduced bezels and a dewdrop notch. It remains to be seen if the A series devices will sport a notch.

It appears that the phones will have a diminished focus onbattery lifecompared to the Galaxy M20. The A series devices are believed to top off at 4,000mAh, while the Galaxy M20 offers a 5,000mAh battery.
Some preliminary specs leaked via Geekbench suggest that all three phones will be powered by anExynos7885 chipset. The RAM will, of course, vary across devices with the A10 featuring 2GB on the base variant while the A30 will sport 4GB at the top end. More interesting, however, is the news that the phones will have Samsung’s newOne UIright out of the box.
Between theGalaxy Mseries and hints of a refreshed focus on the A series, it looks like Samsung is finally getting serious about the entry-level competition. Do you think these phones will do much to turn the tide in Samsung’s favor? Let us know in the comments section.
