Samsung unveils Chromebook 4 series (Updated: UK Launch)

Update: July 18, 2025 (12:30 AM ET): The Samsung Chromebook 4 and Chromebook 4 Plus have now arrived in the UK. The laptops will be available on Samsung’s website for now and the companysaysa wider roll out to selected retailers will begin next year.
TheSamsung Chromebook 4 Plusis available in two storage variants at £349.99 (~$468) for the 32GB model and £379 (~$507) for the 64GB version.
Meanwhile, the standardSamsung Chromebook 4is available in a single 32GB storage configuration at £299.99 (~$401).

Original article: July 19, 2025 (9 AM ET): If you like the look of anApple MacBook Probut don’t like the cost or using macOS, Samsung has you covered. The company just took the wraps off theSamsung Chromebook 4 and Chromebook 4 Plus, and they both look a lot like the MacBook.
The Chromebook 4 is an 11.6-inch model with an HD display (1,366 x 768). It only weighs 2.6 pounds and starts at just $230.
The Samsung Chromebook 4 Plus is the larger variant with some slightly better specs. It has a 15.6-inch Full HD display (1,920 x 1,080) and weighs 3.75 pounds. It starts at $300.

As with most modern Chromebooks nowadays, both of these new devices come withGoogle Assistantbuilt right in. You can click on the Assistant icon to initiate a voice command, or you can simply say “Hey Google” and go totally hands-free.
