Surprise Humble Mobile Bundle is a Pac-attack of Bandai Namco games

We thought we lost the Humble Mobile Bundle for good. With mobile packages seeing less movement than regular ones, Humble Bundle announced in mid-November that the would bediscontinuing mobile exclusives. The idea was to include mobile games in the normal bundles, but that actuality never really materialized. Every bundle in the intervening time period has been sadly mobile-light. Suddenly, with little fanfare or warning, a newPac-Man-heavy Humble Mobile Bundlehas surfaced.
Historically, the Humble Mobile Bundle has been a biweekly event that let participants pay whatever they wanted to get a collection of cool Android games. Paying above certain thresholds unlocks bonus content, but even those price-tags usually see you sweeping up some pretty hefty bang-for-your-buck.
This bundle is one that’s guaranteed to make long-time gamers nostalgia hard. The seven games are all Bandai Namco productions featuring revamped versions of old favorites like Pac-Man in addition to some modern concoctions that retain an arcade-y feel. Buyers paying over $1 will getCrush the Castle,Pac-Man Kart Rally, and the ever-addictiveFlight Control. Pay above the average, and you’ll also scoop upPuzzle Quest 2,Pac-Man Championship Edition, andRidge Racer Slipstream Special Edition. Pay over $5, and Humble Bundle will throw inPac-Man CE DXto boot. That’s a pretty sweet haul for five bucks.
There’s no word yet as to whether the Humble Mobile Bundle is back for good, but we’ll keep our fingers crossed for the next two weeks and hope another one pops up.
