The new OPPO A75 and A75s have 6-inch displays and facial recognition

July 16, 2025

OPPO, one of theworld’s largest cell phone manufacturers, just took the wraps off the OPPO A75 and A75s today in Taiwan. The devices feature full-screen designs and facial recognition.

There is little that separates the OPPO A75 and A75s. A look at the spec sheet reveals that the only difference is the amount of internal storage— 32 GB for the A75 and 64 GB for the A75s. While doubling the internal storage looks great on paper, both devices supportmicroSD cards. Since you can expand the storage by up to 256 GB on either device, the real world impact is negligible.

The display on the A75 and A75s is a 6-inch 2160 x 1080 LCD display, that comes in at an 18:9 aspect ratio. The devices are powered by the MediaTek Helio P23 (MT6763T) SoC clocked at 2.5 GHz, with 4 GB of RAM, and a 3,200 mAh battery.

The rear of the device houses a fingerprint sensor and a 16 MP camera. OPPO included a higher-resolution 20 MP camera on the front of the device and is talking up the phones’ facial recognition abilities. The phones ship with face unlocking, much likewe saw recentlywith theOnePlus 5T. The phone instantly unlocks when a user wakes up the screen, and the camera scans their face. OPPO is marketing this as an end to taking off your gloves during winter just to unlock your phone.

If you’re interested in picking up the OPPO A75 or A75s, they’re on sale in Taiwan. They carry a price tag of NTD 10,990 ($365) and NDT 11,990 ($400), respectively, and come in either Gold or Black.
