July 19, 2025
The coronavirus pandemic is affecting everyone in one way or another. Most of us are stuck inside and an influx of people are performing their normal job duties at home. Many folks are also out of a job right now, which means people are spending way more time on the internet than usual.
We’ve experienced lots of internet problems recently, from slow Wi-Fi to laggy streaming services likeNetflix,Hulu, andDisney Plus. We asked you last weekon the websiteandYouTubeif you’ve had any internet problems, and it looks like many of you have.

Are you experiencing any slow internet issues?
Out of over 7,400 total votes, a whopping 52.55% ofAndroid Authorityreaders have had Wi-Fi, mobile data, andstreaming service issues over the past few weeks. That number jumps up to 69.98% if you add in all the people who’ve had either Wi-Fi/mobile data problems orstreaming serviceissues. Separately, 13.26% of voters have been having Wi-Fi and mobile data issues, while just 4.17% have had streaming service issues.
TL;DR: Lots of people are having internet issues right now.
Just 30.02% of you haven’t experienced any issues whatsoever. But how? What services are you using that are supposedly impervious to network errors?
