We don’t hold ourBest of Android Awardsuntil the end of the year, but we thought 2019 was different. There have beenso many great phonesreleased in the first half of 2019 that we wanted to ask you, our readers, which one you think is the best.
So, that’s exactly what we did. Last Wednesday,we asked youto vote for the phone (or phones) you think stand out above the rest in early 2019. Wondering which phone won? Check out the results below:
Reader’s Choice: What’s the best smartphone of early 2019?
Out of over 2,500 total votes, you have spoken: the Samsung Galaxy S10 line (Galaxy S10,S10 Plus, andS10e) are the best phones released so far in 2019. Your pick of the trio? Perhaps not surprisingly, theGalaxy S10 Plus. Following the S10 line at a close second is theOnePlus 7andOnePlus 7 Pro, which received 28.4% of the votes.
After those two options, the numbers significantly drop off from there. TheHUAWEI P30 Procame in at a distant third place with 12.1% of the votes, while fourth place with 9.2% of the votes went to theGoogle Pixel 3aand3a XL.
Update:To drill down into exactly which Galaxy S10 variant you liked the most, we asked you to vote again. Theresultwasn’t exactly a surprise, but the strong showing made by all three variants was a pretty strong testament to the quality of the series overall. Here are those results in detail for you:
